Wear Chemistry

How do you like the touch of silk on your skin? Cool right? But let’s admit wearing silk on an ‘everyday occasion’ is really, really naff (i.e. not so cool). Side step this dilemma and feel the ‘cool’ benefits of bamboo on your skin with the help of Wear Chemistry. This young clothing label has spent years assessing how to create a casual clothing product with minimal environmental impact and optimal wearer satisfaction. Made with 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton, these ‘elemental’, unisex t-shirts are made with the utmost consideration of the ethical impact and environmental responsibility their production has on the earth and it’s earthlings.
But why bamboo you ask? For centuries, no fabric (natural or synthetic) has come close to challenging the robustness, comfort and popularity of cotton but bamboo offers still more benefits that are only now being discovered. For example, it’s naturally hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial so it doesn’t retain odours as well as cotton does (that’s a positive thing), and most impressively – it has stronger UV protection qualities.
These cheeky tees are only the beginning for Wear Chemistry. They’ll soon be releasing a range of hoodies for when the cooler months roll around so then you can look cool whilst feeling warm without a wisp of silk in sight …
